The Gubernatorial Candidate of Young Progressive Congress YPP in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, Dr Sunday Opoke has embarked on provision of Electronics, furnitures and other instruments needed in worship Centers in State.
Dr Opoke decided to embark on such projects during his visitations to most of the worship Centers in rural areas of the State where he discovered that people of God are worshipping in a place which is not conducive.
Opoke said all these is to make sure that people feel comfortable each time they come to worship God.
In one of the churches where he visited at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church Orizor in Ezza North Local Government Area of the State gave him award of of ‘Kingdom Builder.
In reaction, Dr Opoke promise to install electric fans in the church.
The award was given to him by the Reverend Kinsley Okoro who is in charge of the church.
Moreso, the Gubernatorial Candidate also visited Saint Steven’s Anglican Church, Achara Unuphu Community in Abakaliki Local Government Area where he received blessings from the Reverend who is in charge of the church, Reverend Anichukwu Udeh who blessed him before the alter of God to become the next Governor of the State come 2023.
“My party is Young Progressive Party YPP and we are going to put smiles on the faces of Ebonyi People. Even if you can’t join my political party, you can be where you are and vote for me. My interest is to win and become the Governor in 2023.
Opoke promised to equip the Church with Furnitures which include seats.
In another development, the Candidate also visited Church of Advent, Igweledoha in Ezza North Local Government.
Opoko preached to people on the need to remain consistent with God as anyone who is with God is always protected.
“No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper”. Opoke added.
The Priest in charge of the Church of the Advent, Reverend Douglas Oke rained blessings on the YPP Gubernatorial Candidate.
Oke added that “if a man who has fear of God becomes the Governor, People will surely rejoice.
