Polycarp Sola – Abakaliki

The Abakaliki Rice Mill Company Owners have called on members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as well as the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to join hands with Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to build a better Ebonyi state.

The chairman of the company, comrade Obeji Linus, who made the call in Abakaliki, the state capital, stated this while reacting to the recent victory of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru at the Supreme Court against the litigations of the aforementioned opponents at the March 18th, 2023 governorship elections.

Obeji, while congratulating Governor Nwifuru, described him as God’s ordained leader, saying that his victory at the apex court has solidified him as the choice of the masses at the polls and enjoining the opposition to join hands with him towards making the state a better place in the interest of peace and progress for all.

“The voice of the people is the voice of God, and no one can change it. His Excellency, R.t. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, is ordained by God, and no man can change it.

“I enjoin our people to join hands together with our governor, who is dedicated and focused on building a better Ebonyi State. You mustn’t be a governor to make your contributions; the seat is meant for servants, and we believe that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has come to serve all Ebonyians.

“Therefore, on behalf of my family and the good people of Abakaliki rice mill, I wish to congratulate him and also to let him know that we are behind him and we must cue into the divinity behind his calling.” Obeji said.
