Umahi sets to train 300 Youths on leadership, entrepreneurship

Governor David Umahi has approved the implementation of training for 300 youths in Ebonyi State on leadership as well as entrepreneurship.


The training is scheduled to be a one month event where the youths would be trained intensively on leadership ethics, self reliance amongst others.


The State Commissioner for information, Uchenna Orji gave the hint following the executive council resolution to implement policies towards building future leaders in the State.



“EXCO approved the implementation of a leadership programme for the Future Leaders of Ebonyi State,


“Under this training programme, 300 youths of Ebonyi State shall be given intensive leadershp training for one month and the areas of coverage shall be leadership, ethics, self reliance, entrepreneurship etc.” Orji said.


Adding it would be a legacy programme for the future leaders of Ebonyi State and highlighted the first category would accommodate people with at least ‘O’ level.


2nd Category is for 1st degree holders and 3rd Category is for those with 2nd degree and above.”


He said the program would be advertised to enable 20 beneficiaries across the 13 Local Government Areas of the State participate.
