The Senator Representing Ebonyi North Zone, Dr Sam Egwu has trained and empowered over 2,000 Ebonyi People on all Seasons Farming.
This is to ensure food Security in the state and Nigeria at large.
Senator Egwu disclosed this during the training and the Empowerment in Abakaliki the State capital.
Egwu informed that Ebonyi State will soon become the Agricultural Tourist Center of the world if all the empowered people should put it into practice.
The training was in partnership with the Federal Cooperative College Oji River.
Egwu said he has done much for the people of the State starting from when he was the Governor of the State till date.
Voter Identification number (VIN)Trading
The Senator urged the people of the Ebonyi North Zone to vote him back to National Assembly to continue in his good works.
He warned them never to sell their VIN to anybody for N10,000 as it would bring setback in the future of the country.
During the Lectures on how to produce Fish, Cassava, Rice and Honey at all seasons, the Lecturer, Mr Njoku Chukwumweolu called on the participants to pay attention in order to learn it and be empowered as well.
This is to help Empower others in future.
Moreso, the House of Assembly Candidate for Ebonyi North West State constituency, under the platform of People’s Democratic Party PDP, Barrister Obinna Iteshi urge people to support Dr Sam Egwu to succeed in his ambition to go back to National Assembly as well as for himself.
One of the Speakers Mr Micheal Nwambam, on behalf of others promised to work hard towards the success of the Senator.
Some of the Beneficiaries, Mr Peter Ubochi, Ukamaka Nwamini, Agbo Chinemerem, Nwankwo Simon, Nwakara Simon from Ohaukwu, Ebonyi, Abakaliki and Izzi Local Government Areas respectively thanked Egwu for the kind gesture.
They prayed for his success so as to continue the transformation that going on in this constituency.
The Senator has his Projects scattered in the four Local Government Areas that made up the Ebonyi North Zone.
The Projects are ranging from Rural and Urban electrification, roads constructions, drilling of boreholes and building of houses to the indigents.
