Senator Egwu Celebrates End Of The Year Party With His Constituents

The 2022 end of the year party which was carried over to 2023 has become an annual ritual by Senator Sam Egwu since his inception as the senator representing Ebonyi North senatorial zone, provides opportunity to celebrate with his constituents and as well enable him render his account of stewardship.

The 2022 edition held at his umuebe Ezzangbo country home, in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the State attracted political leaders from Ebonyi North zone and the people’s democratic party PDP governorship candidate, Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii as well as other contestants of various positions under the party.

The former senator representing the zone, Senator Ngiji Ngele, the two national assembly members Chief Sylvester Ogbaga and chief Chukwuma Nwazunku among other speakers, eulogized the quality representation of senator Egwu and his peaceful dispositions which they said are contributing to the political stabilities of the state.

The state PDP governorship candidate, Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii who observed that power comes from God, said his emergence as the standard flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming general election is for a purpose which Ebonyi people will never regret.

“If I win as your Governor in the forthcoming election, I will give you the best administration that can make every Ebonyi man to rejoice”. Odii said.

Senator Egwu while appreciating his constituents for their supports, said he will continue to initiate and embark on projects and programmes that will improve their welfare.
He encouraged them to collect and guard jealously, their PVCs which will give them the power to choose their leaders during the election.

The senator announced the gift of one million naira, bags of rice, as well as cows each to the four local government areas under the zone.
Those were in addition to the sum of five hundred thousand naira each given to them by Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii.

“Am appreciating you for the wonderful support you have given me so far and am still soliciting for your support again in the forthcoming general election to enable me emerge winner as your Senator again”. Egwu said.

The highlight of the occasion was the performance of different cultural groups which added colour to the event.
