The chairman of Abakaliki rice mill industry, Chief Obeji Linus, has congratulated Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on the year’s celebration of Democracy Day, saying that Ebonyians are not regretting him being the governor of the state and commended his good leadership.
Obeji, who described Governor Nwifuru as a builder of men and women, noted him as a unifier who has centred his administration on delivering the needs of his people through quality infrastructures and policies geared towards the betterment of the lives of the common people.
“On this auspicious occasion of democracy day celebration, I’m thanking God for His Excellency, His family and the foot soldiers who are working with him, and celebrating the fact that we in Ebonyi state here are celebrating good leadership.
“We are celebrating the dividends of democracy; we are indeed celebrating the impactful government of His Excellency, the builder of the people, who has anchored his policies and programmes on the people.
“He is a unifier; he has been able to bring calmness in our state; he has been able to affect our lives individually and collectively; he has been able to erect infrastructure; he is indeed the reason for our votes, and we are not regretting him being our governor; we are excited that he has achieved monumental success within two years of his administration.” Obeji said
He called on all Ebonyians to continue to support Governor Nwifuru’s administration, expressing confidence in his ability to continue with the delivery of the dividends of democracy through his people-orientated policies, noting his various achievements in the two years of his administration.
“As he is marching forward to a greater height, we should continue to support him, to rally around him and be good followers because I know that if he has achieved this much within two years of his administration, it therefore beholds on us to know that he is going to do more in coming years,” he added.
