Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kpirikpiri ward, Ebonyi Local Government Area of the State have distributed food items, Cash Sum of money to party faithful to felicitate Christmas Day.
The items distributed include over 1000 bags of 5kg rice, a packet of tomatoes, and Maggi.
Others include cash sums of money that emanated from the office of the Executive Chairman of Ebonyi LGA, Barrister Chinedu Uburu, who gave out to felicitate with the people, as part of his expression of peace, and unity among the party faithful. (Sources gathered)
The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Direct labor, Hon Chika Nwangele who monitored the distribution as part of his responsibility as the National President of Ofoke youths association noted the exercise as peaceful and commended the council chairman for emulating Governor David Umahi’s kind gesture is given to the people.
“We are here to distribute the items as given by the council chairman to his people, and the exercise is peaceful as everyone is happy”. he said.
The chairman of the APC campaign council, Kpirikpiri ward, who doubles as the FON youth movement Urban Coordinator, Hon Nnanna Nwangele said the exercise is a show of appreciation to the people and lauded the State Government as well as the council chairman who made it possible.
He urged the people to continue canvassing support for the APC gubernatorial Candidate, R.t Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and all others in the 2023 general elections.
While commending the exercise, the ward councilor, Hon Jude Righteous, maintained that he would continue to protect the interest of the people in his ward to ensure that they receive the benefits that are due to them.
According to the Kpirikpiri APC ward chairman, Hon. Alum Okechukwu, the food items as well as cash distributed would benefit the party faithful across all the pooling units in Kpirikpiri.
Some of the beneficiaries, Who spoke to our correspondent applauded Governor David Umahi for unifying the people and initiating youthful governance in the State.
They urged they pledged to support the APC gubernatorial Candidate, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to emerge as the Governor who would continue with the batten of good governance from Umahi.
