Mr. Celestine Onele, the electrical electronics engineer in Ebonyi State, has clocked 18 hours of marathon ironing in his quest to set a new Guiness World Record for the longest ironing of clothes.
Engr. Onele made it known to the public in a press conference held in Abakaliki, the state capital, on Sunday that he was embarking on the exercise to set a new Guiness World Record.
The event has commenced at the Real Exclusive Palace Bar, Abakaliki, in the state capital.
This marks the early stage of the quest for Mr. Celestine Onele, and as external observers, journalists have continued to monitor the activity.
Members of the public have also been coming to support him with clothing to iron.
