The head of the Hausa Community in Ezzamgbo, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Alhaji Abdullahi Yunusa has sued for peace in the country and prayed for good leadership ahead of the incoming Government.
Abdullahi gave the charge while interacting with Newsmen at his residence on the year’s celebration of the Eid El Fitr, following the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting and prayer for the Muslim faithful.
“We have to thank Allah for making us see the end of this Ramadan, this is about compassion, love, and empathy.
“The essence is to assist those in need and also pray for our nation and the leaders that are going out and those coming for them to steer the ship to benefit the people,” Abdullahi said.
He expressed confidence in the incoming Government and advised them to fulfill their promises to the electorates who voted for them into power.
“They should ensure that they give good dividends of democracy to the people and not disappoint them“. He added.
