Ebonyi YPP guber candidate bag merit award for human capital development

The gubernatorial Candidate of Young Progressive Party, (YPP) in Ebonyi State, Mr Sunday Opoke on Thursday received an award of merit for human capital development from the forum of independent publishers of Nigeria.

Presenting the merit award to Opoke, Anita Aluya of Efosa TV channel described him as a credible candidate and a man with passion for human development, wealth creation as observed in his profile.

According to Anita, “keen observations made by various experienced journalists have shown that Engr Opoke deserves to be honored,

“We understand that he is an Engineer of repute, a water consultant to several countries in Africa and has also empowered alot of young people both at home and in diaspora.

“Thus, we have resolved to honor the YPP gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 elections today with this merit award in commendation for his various live touching programs for the people, and to wish him all the best wishes ahead of the general elections”. Anita explained.

Accepting his merit award Opoke equally maintained that human capital development would be his area of focus when he gets elected as Governor in 2023.

“The highest paid worker is a worker that works with his body, so when we come to governance, we are going to dwell solely emphatically on human capital development,

“Because that’s the only thing that would make sure that every young person that has the capacity and the ability and agility, can feed without depending on the government,

“if you don’t develope the people, you cannot create wealth, if we must create wealth, we must harness all the necessary resources available”. he said.

Opoke added that he would create a system to urbanize the rural areas where everyone would have the opportunity to be empowered for a better livelihood.
