The state Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Ebonyi state chapter, Mr. Ricky Okorouka yesterday insisted that the party has no candidate in the forthcoming bye election for Ebonyi South Senatorial district.
The election is slated to hold next month 4th February.
The Chairman made this known while interacting with Journalists in Abakaliki, the State Capital.
Okorouka further noted that party might adopt any candidate of her choice from other political parties if APGA failed to field candidate in the election.
He said “Up till today, 10th of January, 2024, no candidate has approached the party that he or she wants to contest for Ebonyi South Senatorial Seat.
“And the party has not conducted any primary to produce a candidate. Therefore, anybody who is having illegal primary anywhere is nul and void.
“We are the leadership of the party in the State and there’s no reason for anyone to conduct and primary without our consent,” Okorouka explained.
