The Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Direct Labor, Hon Chika Nwangele who doubles as the National President of Ofoke youths association has emulated his boss by distributing food and clothing items worth millions of naira to widows and the less privileged persons.
This came as part of his annual event for the people of Kpirikpiri which is tagged the Ofoke day celebration.
Our correspondent reports that the Ofoke day celebration is an annual event that was initiated by Hon. Chika Nwangele on his assumption of office as the Ofoke Youth President.
“I am learning from my master because he is a cheerful giver, he gives to the poor, to the Youths and the widows, he gives to the people, and that is we are emulating from“. he said.
“Every 23rd of December is Kpirikpiri day and I initiated it on my inception as the National President of Ofoke youths association”.
He revealed that the Ofoke day celebration is a two-way event as it presents the day and night session.
“We are going to have a night carnival where all our musical artists and entertainers would display their crafts to our people”.
He commended the presence of the All Progressives Congress APC Candidates in Ebonyi North, such as Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Hon Chinyere Nwogbaga, Hon Eze Nwachukwu among others who came to celebrate with Ofoke kingdom.
“Kudos to all the APC Candidates from the north, and all the APC Candidates in Ebonyi State, we are sensitizing our town to ensure that we don’t have any other political party except APC in Ebonyi State”. he added.
The Ofoke day celebration which attracted a whole lot of dignitaries in Kpirikpiri is no doubt a product of the Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Direct Labor, Hon Chika Nwangele who is also a great mobilizer.
Also speaking at the event, the FON youth movement Urban Coordinator and the Chairman of the APC campaign council in Kpirikpiri, Hon Nnanna Nwangele noted the Ofoke day celebration as an all-inclusive event aimed at Uniting all the people in Kpirikpiri ward.
He commended the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi for unifying the people and called on them to support all the APC Candidates in the 2023 election towards sustaining the legacies of the governor.
“We are here to make sure that we return the same love that we are getting from the State Government, and we call on our people to keep supporting the APC at all levels”. he explained.
Others present at the event include the Kpirikpiri ward Chairman of APC, Hon Alum Okechukwu, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ward Chairman of Kpirikpiri, Hon Jude Ani (ONWA), the ward chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Nnaemeka Obigbulam.
