The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, (RTEAN) Ebonyi State chapter has congratulated Governor David Umahi on winning the re-run primary elections of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the southern senatorial zone.
Umahi polled a total of 250 votes on Sunday to clinch the Ebonyi South Senatorial ticket of the APC, following a Federal High Court judgment in Abakaliki that a fresh primary election be conducted.
The State chairman, Comrade James Igwe, said in a statement forwarded to Eye witness News that Umahi’s victory was a cheering news to his members and expressed confidence that his good leadership style would be needed at the Senate for the interest of his people and the entire Country.
Igwe congratulated the people of Ebonyi South for choosing Umahi to represent them.
