The Chairman of Abakaliki Rice Millers Association, Comrade Obeji Linus Nkwuda has expressed confidence that the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi would emerge victorious to the National Assembly come 2023 general elections and eventually emerge the Senate President.
Obeji said noting Umahi’s exceptional leadership qualities in managing the State’s meager resources, and transforming dust into a wonderful city; “his charisma and exposure in National politics would serve as an added advantage to making him, senate President of Nigeria”.
He also commended the Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, while giving his assurances that the rice Millers would continue to support APC to secure victory at the polls.
The Chairman, who disclosed in an interview with our correspondent in Abakaliki the State capital, congratulated Governor Umahi on the event of the Christmas celebration and prayed for him and his family.
“I wish His Excellency, Governor David Umahi and his family a merry Christmas, and I also wish to say kudos to his achievements.
“May the good Lord whose birth we are celebrating today, add more value and life to him, and as we go into the election year, he would win and eventually emerge the Senate President of Nigeria“. he added.
He gave his assurances that rice Millers in the State would support APC Gubernatorial candidate, R t Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to emerge as Governor while encouraging him to see his detractors as part of the process to his divine victory.
“I also wish a merry Christmas to the Rt Hon Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, and the APC gubernatorial Candidate, Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, I wish him success in all his endeavors.
“Just like the birth of Jesus was surrounded by a lot of issues, Herod tried to kill him, it’s the same way, so many people that are trying to sabotage the works of Our incoming Governor, but I want to assure him that like the biblical Jesus whom we are celebrating today, it would be all victory come 2023″.
He said the Rice Millers Association would continue to maintain a standard in delivering good products to the people, while commending the existing cooperation of members and the cordial relationship with customers.
