The Chairman of the Abakaliki Rice Mill industry, comrade Obeji Linus, has hailed Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) southeast stakeholders meeting.

Recall that the meeting of the APC stakeholders in the southeast was held yesterday in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital, in the presence of the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje, and Governor Hope Uzordinma of Imo State.

Others who graced the event included the deputy speaker of the house of representatives, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, the APC national vice chairman, southeast, Mr. Ijiomah Arodiogbu, as well as the former SGF, Senator Pius Anyim who recently defected to the APC, and his supporters.

Obeji, while commending Governor Nwifuru for his leadership quality that has attracted a lot of bigwigs in Ebonyi State into the APC, also expressed optimism that his administration would continue on the right path to lead the state to its right place in the country.

“His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has displayed a rare leadership quality by ensuring that the national leadership of the APC came to our dear State, the Salt of the Nation.

“It is no doubt that within the one year of his administration, we have witnessed a great deal of transformation in virtually all aspects of human endeavors in the state; he has empowered the poor and vulnerable, the workers, and has employed our people into civil service.

“With the way that His Excellency is going about good governance, he will eventually become one of the best governors Ebonyi State has ever produced. We are proud of him because he is our own brother.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of the Abakaliki Rice Mill Industry, I highly commend our performing governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, wishing him God’s blessings, and pledge our total support to his government,” he said.
