The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has deployed the 2024 batch ‘B’ stream ‘II’ Corps Members and prayed for God’s protection upon them who are currently serving in the State in their various primary places of assignments.
The Ebonyi State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs Oladeinde Foluke disclosed this to Journalists during the closing Ceremony of 2024 batch ‘B’ stream ‘II’ Corps Members at NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Old Macgregor College Afikpo Local Government Area of the State.
Oladeinde said “Today,as you left the camp to your various Places of Primary Assignment, I admonish you to be law abiding, accommodating, diligent, accept the people of your host community, respect their culture,mentor their young ones and uphold good morals. Remember, you are the mirror through which the world sees NYSC.
It is my fervent prayer that god almighty protects, bless and keep you.
The State Coordinator wished them successful and fulfilled service year in Ebonyi State.
She equally appreciated the State Governor, Mr Francis Nwifuru for his numerous support to NYSC.
She also appreciated all the security agencies and Heads of Federal Establishments for their supports so far.
“This set of Corps Members have been diligent in carrying out their assigned dutes.They have displayed great sense of oneness, discipline and dedication to duty.
This remarkable bonding existing among them is a clear indication that the scheme is achieving its objectives of developing common ties among the youths;
promoting National Unity and Integration so l commend you all for your commitment and good conduct during this orientation course”
“you will receive your posting letters to your Places of Primary Assignment. This posting was done taking cognizance of yaur courses of study and the government policy of posting corps members to four critical areas of the economy such as;
Education, Rural Infrastructure, Agriculture and Health. Therefore I urge you to accept your postings in good fate and go out there and contribute your quota to the development of your host community and Ebonyi State at large”. She added.
