Ebonyi: NYSC charges outgoing corps members on sustaining discipline

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ebonyi State has charged the outgoing corps members of the 2022 Batch A stream 1 on sustaining discipline as well as urged them to portray the good image of the scheme to the larger society.

The State Coordinator, Mrs. Bamai Mercy who gave the charge on Thursday, while commending the good virtues they have displayed in the course of their one year of compulsory service to the Nation, equally prayed for the labor market to favor them.



This is a thing of joy and any moment from now, your certificates will be issued to you and when you leave here, portray the NYSC in a very good image,” she said.

Represented by the NYSC Assistant Director in the Planning Research and Statistics Department, Mr. Joseph Ugbovo, at the passing out ceremony which was held at Nkaliki, the Abakaliki Local Government Headquarters, the State Coordinator further disclosed that a total of 555 corps members passed out from the scheme in the State.

Eye witness reports that 555 of the outgoing corps members were made of 249 males and 306 females respectively.
