The Chairman of Ezza North Local government council doubled with ALGON Chairman Ebonyi State, Chief Moses Ogodo Ali in collaboration with the INEC officials has kicked off 10 day PVC distributions exercise in the Eleven (11) wards of the Local government Council.
The council chairman While Interacting with Newsmen during the kick-off at INEC Office in the Local government council Headquarters Said ” we are not going to rest on the exercise, till everybody in the Area who has registered collects his/her PVC.
“And nothing would stop us from meeting up to the INEC timetable and activities, notwithstanding whatever may come up.
He added ” we are also looking at both the environment, the activities of INEC office and the expectations of our people hoping that INEC is fully very much ready for the Election excess Nigeria.
Again I ” highly commend the INEC Officials in my Local government and the State they are fully very much ready to deliver the assignment, also following up on the timetable activities.
” In my Council they are sending out officials who are going around all the eleven wards in the Local government, distributing PVC to the people.
“This also has made me work with them to make sure that those who registered to collect their voter’s card on time.
Said” In my Interaction with the INEC officials, I discovered that they are very serious and in cooperation with my people, no rigidity on what they are doing, And my people are very happy and excited as their PVC easily comes to them.
The Chairman also disclosed that he has put every machinery in place for smooth distribution, for both the INEC Officials and his staff assigned to work with them to make sure that the excess is dully carried out, to achieve the sound objective goal in the Area.
He said he has talked with the stakeholders in all the wards including the Councilors, the town union chairmen, and the Traditional Rulers, to relate with their people to go and collect their voter’s Cards, because it is the only power they have to vote during the Election.
