Ebonyi Councilors Urged Nwifuru To Restore Peace, Justice In EzzaSouth

The Eight Councilors out of 11 Councilors in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have called on the Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Nwifuru to restore Peace and Justice in the Local Government.

The Eight Councilors who passed vote of no confidence said, the Chairman of the Local Government, Mrs Euphemia Nwali has not been working in line with the Charter of people’s needs of the present Government as she is only after embezzling the public fund, bullying the Councilors and involving the youths of the area in cultism.

Speaking on behalf of the Councilors, the Councilor representing Amagu Nsokara ward, Engr Ukpabi Ikechukwu Henry said
“We passed vote of no confidence in the Loca Government Chairman, Mrs Euphemia Nwali because she has not done anything good relating to the Mantra of the Leadership of the present Government which dwells on the people’s Chatter of needs, She has not done any projects in many wards particular the Amagu Nsokara ward “

” She has introduce cultism in the Local Government Area, thuggery and beaten up of people on daily basis is the order of the day “

“She has seized the allowances for the Councilors for the past nine months”

“Today, during the plenary in the Legislative Chambers of the Local Government, she instructed her thugs to unleash mayhem on the Councilors who passed vote of no confidence on her due to her arrogance and misappropriation of public funds”

“Cars were smashed, a lot of people were wounded”. Ikechukwu said.

Also, the Councilor representing Amazekwe ward, Mr Oviga Cletus Oviga said affirmed that the leadership style of Euphemia Nwali is Inhuman.

Reacting to the Allegations, the Council Chairman, Mrs Euphemia Nwali said all the allegations were falsehood as no there is nothing like thuggery among Ezza South Youths.

Nwali added that it was only the the Ward Councilor representing Nsokara ward that opposed the vote of no confidence.

She equally informed that no cars or properties were destroyed.
