The Senior special Assistant to Ebonyi state governor in charge of Izzi local government Area, Mr. Okemini Felix popularly known as Jango, at the weekend has vowed to combat all crimes against humanity and other forms of crisis in the Council area.
Okemini made this known while speaking with newsmen, shortly after he was inaugurated alongside other twenty (20) SSAs, and SAs by the governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru at the new government house Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi state.
DAILY TIMES reports that the newly inaugurated twenty one (21) Senior Special Assistants and special Assistants on security, Media and primary health were selected from the thirteen (13) local government Areas of Ebonyi state.
The Senior Special Assistants, Okemini however commended the governor, Nwifuru for finding him and others worthy to serve the state in his administration and vowed to discharge his duties effectively.
He assured the state governor and the entire people of IzzI local government of his readiness to combat crimes and other security challenges confronting Izzi LGA and Ebonyi state at large.
According to him: “So far his Excellency has find us worth to participate with him in this new government, I will bring out my best to make sure I discharge my duties in guidance of rule of law to make sure we bring peace and unity in our dear state.
” Few years ago, our elders our fathers have been in government when we work for them, they will not recognize us but it doesn’t mean we don’t go to school but we all it takes to occupy any political office but today God in one or the other has already gifted us with youthful governor so it is on that note he appointed us and as new as we are, we are going to do what others could not do.
“This time around, we are going to say no to any crime against humanity
“My local government knows and I knows them let there be peace and let us support the government in power so that dividend of government will come to our people” he stated.
