Ebonyi @26: Rice Mill Chair Hail Umahi, extols his visionary leadership

The chairman of Abakaliki rice mill, Comrade Obeji Linus Nkwuda, has hailed the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi, and extolled his leadership qualities as the State marks its 26th anniversary.

Obeji, in his congratulatory message, described Umahi as a specialist in human and capital development as reflected in his various achievements in infrastructures and human capacity building within the past seven years of his administration.

On behalf of my family and the entire members of the Abakaliki rice mill company, we say a happy anniversary to our dear State, and congratulate our dear Governor, Engr David Umahi, who has changed the face of Ebonyi State for good.

“I use this medium to note that our Governor has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is a visionary leader and a man with the fear of God, his various achievements would last for as long as the State exists, which shows that Ebonyi is on the rise”.

He commended the Governor for ensuring that peace returns to the rice mill company by conducting a peaceful election which saw him emerge as chairman.

Also, he noted the contributions of the deputy Governor, Barrister Kelechi Igwe, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Francis Ogbonaya Nwifuru in delivering good governance to the Ebonyi people.

Others include the chief judge, Justice Elvis Ngene, the secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, the Commissioner for commerce and industry, Dr. Stephen Odo, and Deacon Austin Umahi.

He commended the Special assistant to the Governor on SDG and market development, Dr (Mrs) Ngozi Oby Chukwu for their various contributions to the success attained by this administration.

He congratulated the Ebonyi people and called on them to continue with the legacies of the State Government by ensuring that good leaders emerged in the State in 2023 in order with fairness, equity, and justice as portrayed in the Candidacy of the APC standard bearer, Hon. Francis Ogbonaya Nwifuru.
