In a passionate and uplifting Easter message, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for Ebonyi State, extended warm greetings to the people of the state while urging them to embrace the deeper meaning of the season — grace, sacrifice, and renewed hope.
Speaking to families and communities across the state, Dr. Odii reflected on the spiritual essence of Easter as a time of transformation and new beginnings. “Through pain, there is purpose; through sacrifice, there is salvation; and through faith, there is always victory,” he said, drawing from the message of Christ’s resurrection.
He praised the enduring spirit of the people of Ebonyi, describing their resilience, hope, and determination as the defining attributes of a great and active citizenry. He noted that despite the challenges, the people have continued to push forward with a strength that inspires.
Citing the prophetic scripture from Isaiah 43:19 — “Behold, I will do a new thing” — Dr. Odii called on the people to believe in a new beginning for Ebonyi State. He envisioned a future where the potential of the state is not only recognized but fully realized; a state where dignity, purpose, and peace guide every citizen’s life.
“As we celebrate Easter, may the grace of the resurrection fill your homes with peace and your hearts with renewed courage,” he stated. “May this Easter awaken in us the courage to believe again, to build again, and to rise together.”
Dr. Odii closed his message with a note of gratitude and a heartfelt Easter blessing to all residents of Ebonyi State.
