The chairman of the Abakaliki Rice Mill industry, comrade Obeji Linus, has sent a heartfelt salutation to the governor of Ebonyi state, Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on the celebration of the year’s Christmas and applauded the impacts of his leadership on workers in the state.
Obeji, who commended Governor Nwifuru for ensuring that civil servants in the state celebrate the festival with a bonus sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira (150,000) each, said that indeed this is the best moment to serve in the state as the governor is committed to meeting the needs of his people.
“As we celebrate Christmas Day, I would like to use this opportunity to salute our most performing governor, His Excellency, the Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, the people’s governor, who has come to change the narratives in terms of human and capacity building.
“Just like what he did last year, the Governor has ensured that no civil servant in the state is celebrating without smiles on their faces; he has given each of them a sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, and we owe him a commendation.
“This is a season of love, sharing, and giving, and the Governor, who is the father of the state, has demonstrated that to love is to give by giving and also prioritizing the needs of the people, according to his people’s charter of needs mantra; everyone should emulate him.” Obeji said.
He called on Ebonyians to continue with the show of love and support to the youthful governor to gain more of the dividends of his people’s charter of needs agenda, which was aimed to deliver good governance.
“On behalf of my family, the good people of the Rice Mill industry, we wish to say a very big congratulations to our performing governor today on the celebration of the year’s Christmas and also pray for the good Lord to give him more strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of our dear Ebonyi state into the promised land.” He said.
