Ajah applauds gov. Nwifuru on constructing road to late Sen. Ude’s home in Ebonyi

The Chairman of Ohaozara local government area of Ebonyi State, Hon. Ajah Chinonso yesterday commended the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru for his decision to construct a road that lead to the residence of late Sen. Anyim Ude.

The council chairman made this known in an interview with Journalists at his council headquarters, Uburu. He described the governor’s actions as commendable.

Late Sen. Ude died at the age of 82 years and was buried at his country home Iyioji Akaeze, Ivo local government area of Ebonyi state last Friday.

The deceased who was a veteran Journalist, represented Ebonyi’s south zone at the Senate between 2007 and 2011 and was among the founding fathers of the state.

Ajah further noted that governor’s action, has given the late Ude family a sense of belonging, stressing that governor Nwifuru has began to manifest his campaign promises to the people of state.

He further noted that as a youth, Gov.Nwifuru is teaching the young generation how to pay respect to those that do good to them.

“I just want to commend our governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru for his recent decision to construct road that lead to the residence of late Sen. Anyim Ude.

“Why because the governor is teaching us the youth of this state to do good to elder statemen of this state.

“So I very much happy and I promise to reciprocate such gesture to my council area,” he explained.

The chairman however, commended the federal government for chosen Senator David Umahi as a Minister of the Federal Republic.

He expressed hope that the former governor will replicate what he did in Ebonyi during his eight years in office at the federal level.
