2027: Group Inaugurates LGA Leadership For Gov Nwifuru’s Second Term

A sociopolitical organisation in Ebonyi State, codenamed the Francis Frontiers Organisation, has inaugurated local government executives to support the reelection of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

The organisation, which is self-sponsored, is made up of political elites and business moguls that have decided to showcase the works of the governor over the past two years of his administration and drum support for his reelection.

Rt Hon Chris Usulor, chairman of the Francis Frontiers(F-F) said the reason for the formation of the group was to complement the efforts of the governor in dishing out the dividends of democracy to the people and showcasing the governor’s infrastructural development and human empowerment.

“In a situation where it is underreported, our duty is to showcase it to the world that our governor is doing well, hence the formation of the group”, he said.

Speaking with journalists, Hon. Chidi Ejem, a former House of Assembly member who is the National Vice Chairman (Ebonyi South zone) of the organisation, noted that Governor Nwifuru’s impact in the zone, saying that the people of the South zone are happy with the governor and are pleased to endorse his second tenure.

“Every community in Ebonyi South has an ongoing project, and it has never been like that before. Other governors have done well, but we commend the governor that within two years he has achieved more in the South,” he said.

Comrade Ben Nwovu, who’s the deputy chairman of the organisation in the state, and representating the North, described Governor Nwifuru as a silent achiever, stating that the essence of establishing the group was to showcase his achievements and drum support for his reelection.

“Every son and sundry in the state are happy with him, especially his peace making initiatives, every community in the state are in peace, Ebonyi state is one big family, and that is why we decided to showcase him to the world,”he stated.

One of the inauguratees, Chief Obeji Linus, who doubles as the chairman of the Abakaliki rice mill, expressed his admiration for the governor as an achiever and leader who has touched the lives of many people in the state and hence, deserves to be supported for a second tenure.

“We are just here to showcase that indeed, a good work deserves to be given another opportunity; he has done well. Ebonyians should support him because he has done noble,” he added.

Our Correspondent gathered that the local government executives were drawn from the thirteen local government areas in the state and were charged with the responsibility to canvass for support for the governor in their various areas and ensure his reelection.
